Ravi Prakash is an Entry, Descent, and Landing Systems Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. In short, he’s a rocket scientist.
Ravi Prakash was a member of the team that landed the Curiosity rover on Mars in August 2012. Since then, Ravi decided to change directions and starting in August 2013 will be using his engineering skills at IDEO.org to design products that will help improve lives for people living in poverty.
